About Carey Gardens

Carey Gardens is a small boutique native and drought tolerant plant nursery and gardening service. Owned and operated by Noelle Carey.

Noelle's gardening journey started in 1999 after graduating high school she took a summer job at a local commercial perennial nursery. She loved working with the plants and being outside so she went on to get her Bachelors in Horticulture, soil science, and Business at Utah State University. While in college she took another summer position at Red Butte Gardens and worked in the Water Wise and Natural areas of the garden. After gaining experience at Red Butte Gardens she started accepting clients to help with their personal gardens, and that is how Carey Gardens was born.

With over 25 years of experience she has explored many aspects of Gardening, Designing, Plant selection, Hardscaping, Sprinklers, native and naturalized gardens, and food production. Currently offering routine maintenance services and personalized garden care.

Noelle is deeply dedicated to creating beautiful spaces and cultivating plants that are adapted to our unique high desert climate. She also enjoys being a mom, skiing, hiking, traveling, growing food and finding ways to be self sufficient.
